~~~~My wife and I are both retired and spend our week-ends giving carriage rides in bricktown/downtown and currently park on Ron Norick by the ice rink at the Myriad Gardens. We also do weddings and special events. The brick streets, lights, entertainment, bronze statues, and artistic landscaping make bricktown the perfect location. Oklahoma City was named one of National Geographic's "must see" places of 2015 and it's grown even more since then. In 2017 Oklahoma City was featured in Washington Post's travel series, "You're going where?" It may have a solid Old West legacy, but the future keeps bringing updates to the city - including walkable neighborhoods (with a streetcar on the way) and ever-changing public art - while it manages to maintain its strongest traditions. Our big beautiful dark brown Shire gelding named “Pepper” is an eye-catcher. He has gorgeous feathered legs, is 18 hands, 1650 pounds, and has a very gentle disposition.
